STONEHAM, MA - Nutting watch
Stoneham Town Administrator Jeff Nutting will learn this week whether he will have the option of becoming the new Franklin Town Administrator.
Stamp out confusion
The price of postage stamps has risen from 33¢ to 34¢ as of Jan. 8, 2001. Those 1¢ stamps at the bottom of the junk drawer are gold again.
Working on the highway
D & R General Contracting of Stoneham was the low bidder on a job to repave a section of Route 95 between Wakefield and Lynnfield.
The Franklin Street company got the job with a bid of $1,691,085. Work begins in the spring.
